1. How did you get to Austin?
After working for a few years after college in Missouri, I decided I needed a change. I quit my job, packed up my car and moved to Austin as quickly as I could.

2. Why did you join the AYC?
I wanted to grow my network and connect with other young people in Austin.

3. What is your favorite lunch spot?
There are so many delicious places, so this is difficult. Current favorites would be Madam Mam’s, Torchy’s, and Pinthouse Pizza. Call me if you need a lunch buddy!

4. If you could have any super power, what would it be and what would you use it for?
I would want to be able to fly. That way I wouldn’t have to deal with traffic and I’d be able to travel all over the world with ease.

5. If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
Jim Gaffigan. I’m sure living next door to him would keep me laughing all the time!

6. What are your top 3 things to do/see in Austin?
People watching anywhere, trying out new restaurants, and going to a show at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.

7. If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you?
I’d be having coffee and brunch somewhere tasty, then getting a pedicure, followed by devouring popcorn at Alamo Drafthouse while watching a movie.

8. When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
I handle the marketing for a custom software engineering firm here in Austin called Clear Measure. You probably haven’t heard of us yet, but you will.

9. What do you think is the best invention in the past 50 years?
It may be a cliche answer, but the Internet has definitely revolutionized our lives.

10. Who was your first Facebook friend?
I’m pretty sure it was my college roommate, Lauren. I can semi-remember her telling me about it after she heard about it in class and I immediately signed up.

11. If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
I’d love to have the option of multiple houses in various cities – London, Chicago, and somewhere on the beach.
