Thomas served in technical and business leadership roles over a 15 year period in R&D and Enterprise IT Strategy under high growth Fortune 50, billion dollar business units at HP, Dell & Cisco. He has been responsible for leading teams to deliver advanced, innovative, complex, flagship networking and computing products from concept to market across Consumer, Enterprise and Service Provider markets. Skilled in lean Six Sigma methodology, he championed BU & enterprise wide strategy and business transformation efforts across complex Cisco functions that helped increase organizational effectiveness to scale.
He founded & served as the Cisco’s Latin American employee organization’s CTO across the Americas & Europe and spent time with industry thought leaders & innovators at Cisco Ventures to seed billion dollar ideas across global markets.
Today, Thomas’ consulting firm delivers value for entrepreneurs, corporate executives and Private Equity firms through Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Business/IT alignment, M&A and IP due diligence consulting services. He is an AARO 2011 McBee Fellow, recent Chairman of The Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, served on Leadership Austin and Austin Chamber boards and currently serves on Mission Capital, Austin Ed Fund and Texas Lyceum boards. He attended San Antonio College, graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering and has earned project management and executive leadership credentials from George Washington and Stanford Universities.
