Senior Business Analyst | Upbring Innovation Labs
Kyle Kerrigan exists to utilize his enthusiasm and skills to convince people to address our society’s most pressing social issues. The Austin Young Chamber served as Kyle’s introduction to the central Texas community. It thrills him to contribute to the Chamber’s engagement of Austin’s longstanding residents, recent graduates, and newcomers alike.
Kyle serves as Senior Business Analyst at Upbring Innovation Labs, exploring audacious ideas that can break the cycle of abuse and working out of The Capital Factory, the heart of Austin’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. Upbring is one of Texas’ largest nonprofit child welfare organizations. He arrived in Austin in January 2016 to continue his business development and social enterprise career that he began in Indianapolis, IN with Goodwill Industries.
Kyle graduated from DePauw University (IN), majoring in Political Science and History, and helps organize alumni events in central Texas. Shortly thereafter, he completed his Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University. Kyle continued his post-graduate education at IU’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), earning his Master of Public Affairs (MPA).
After joining the Chamber, Kyle began serving on the Economic Development Committee and eventually chaired the committee in 2018. Through the Chamber, he was introduced to Leadership Austin and graduated from the Emerge Program (2016). He draws on those collaborative decision-making skills every day and leans into Leadership Austin’s belief in our shared commitment to community trusteeship.
Kyle’s relishes his membership on the TownLake YMCA Board of Managers, as well as opportunities to volunteer with the YMCA Youth & Government program.
Public service is his lifelong aspiration. His biggest decision each week: Torchy’s or Taco Deli.
