      1. What brought you to Austin and how long have you been here?
        I have lived in Austin all of my life. Born and raised and proud to say a true Austinite. I have not felt connected to another city the way I feel connected to Austin.
      2. How did you get connected to AYC?
        Through marketing and other organizations.
      3. What are you involved with in AYC AND what is your favorite part of AYC?
        I am committed to the LEAD Summit and Changemaker Awards Committee.
        Leadership roles and new areas of growth.
        The connections amongst the AYC members.
        The various roles and industries provide a variety of experience and knowledge across the board.
      4. Where can we find you brunching in Austin on any given Saturday?
        A few spots:

      5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
        The first thing I wanted to say was being able to see through walls because that would make my job much easier… Ha!
        My real answer:
        Healing – to be able to heal physical and mental illness/imbalance to a state of healthiness
      6. If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
        Amy Poehler
      7. If you had guests visiting Austin for the weekend, where is the first place you would take them to show them a good time?
        Start off with Zilker Park – that view is so grand! Next, travel over to South Congress for a funky walk, then change gears and go to Deep Eddy Pool for a dip and finish it off with a bite to eat a Pool Burger. Last, but certainly not least, continue on to Matt’s El Rancho for drinks and a second round of nibbles.
      8. If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you and what would you be doing?
        Spending time outdoors at a local plant nursery, hiking, reading a book, eating, snacking and then eating some more, painting and getting a pedicure.
      9. When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
        I am the owner and operator of Simply Sold, a remodeling firm that focuses on providing a hand tailored, customized experience and simpler process for our clients.
      10. What technology could you not live without?
        My cell phone – connecting with anyone at any given time.
        Amazon – buying online comes in a close second.
        Instacart – getting fresh food even when there is no time left in the day
        *Dislcaimer: I wanted to say netflix, but it was a little dramatic…I could survive on DVDs, after all, I have done it before.
      11. Who inspires you?
        Oprah – her open mind and curiosity to learn more about other’s and their perspectives. She provides a channel and platform for people to be heard. Their voice matters.
        Her humbleness is inspirational, where much like me and you, she shares her opportunities for growth.
      12. What is your proudest accomplishment?
        Building Simply Sold from the ground up. I work to continually revitalize the process for all homeowners and to provide an ease with the renovation partnership.
        *Coming in a close second: Becoming an author. I co-authored a book with over 20 women that will be released in the next two months.
      13. If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
        Isla Mujeres, Mexico

        Speak Spanish fluently
        My little bits of spanish get me by in the construction world.
