On April 30, 2018, Austin Young Chamber Executive Director Alyssia Woods presented the award for Excellence in Opportunity to member Ashley Wainscott, Founder and CEO of Simply Sold at the 5th Annual City of Austin Small Business Awards.

 

Ashley recognized the need for simple and reliable home remodeling opportunities, and set out to change the game. Since launching Simply Sold in 2013 as a woman in a male dominated industry, Ashley and her team have served over 1,200 Austin homeowners and realtors with high-touch services. Her perseverance and motto “Better every day” has helped build Simply Sold into the successful company it is today. 

 

Ashley is devoted to her company and her community, giving of her time and expertise to many local organizations including The Junior League of Austin and Dress for Success. At the Austin Young Chamber, Ashley is a member of the ChangeMaker Luncheon committee, where she helps honor local individuals who are improving the landscape of our community.
