Introducing Ashleigh O’Connor

As a former member, this might be one of the more exciting emails we have sent outside of our normal programs.

I’d like to introduce you to your new Member Relations Coordinator — Ashleigh O’Connor.

Ashleigh has been a member for a year and a half as part of our partnership with the University of Texas. She has worked in higher education admissions and recruitment for 11 years prior to her new role with AYC, and brings to us her passion for connecting people to people, helping others tap into their strengths, develop their gifts and talents, and connect them with opportunities to do so.

Ashleigh enjoys traveling, hiking with her husband and dog around Austin, micro-roasting coffee at home, kickboxing, and yoga. She claims to be made up of 50% coffee, 40% sparkling water, 10% red wine (ratio subject to change, depending on what kind of day she’s had). I am sure there is some Tito’s mixed in too. She’s always down for a happy hour around town or a chat over a cup of coffee.

This is why she has joined the team. Her responsibility is to be the voice of you members and ensure we continue to add more value to every member who joins our family. This means supporting our committees, reinvigorating our perks program, and sharing exclusive opportunities to members.

Her job in a nutshell, is to be your voice to the staff and board and bring our strategic vision and mission to life. She is your resource to connect and empower you to achieve your personal and professional goals.

I invite you to learn more about Ashleigh by reading her full bio here.

I hope you will join me and welcome Ashleigh and please feel free to email her any questions, comments, or problems you have. We are continuing to improve and your feedback is always appreciated.

Thank you so much!
Matt

P.S. To keep Ashleigh on her toes, and thank you for reading the entire email, I am happy to offer a 25% off membership to anyone not currently a member if you sign up this week! Offer ends Friday at the close of business. Use the link bit.ly/WelcomeAshleigh.
