1. 1. 1. What brought you to Austin and how long have you been here?
         I moved here for school. I went to Concordia University Austin (the old campus on IH-35!) Go Tornadoes!! I’ve been here for 14 years now!
      2. How did you get connected to AYC?
         Honestly, I don’t really remember. But somehow I ended up at a Coffee Connection at the UT club and I’ve been hooked ever since!
      3. What are you involved with in AYC AND what is your favorite part of AYC?
         I’m a member of the Ambassador Committee! My favorite part is meeting all the new people! I also love inviting people to AYC in hopes they get as hooked as I did.
      4. Where can we find you brunching in Austin on any given Saturday?
         We live up North, so we sometimes go to Jack Allen’s. My real favorite brunch is having mimosas at home with my family! 🙂
      5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
         Curing diseases! Cancer ZAP cured. Diabetes ZING gone. Alzheimer’s POW stopped!
      6. If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
         Tim Allen! I love all his movies and I think he’d just be a fun, cooky neighbor with some added neighborhood shenanigans!
      7. If you had guests visiting Austin for the weekend, where is the first place you would take them to show them a good time?
         I like touristy stuff! The Capitol, Bob Bullock, Town Lake etc.
      8. If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you and what would you be doing?
         Hooky with extra money – Disneyland!! Hooky on a budget – a park with a picnic with hubs, daughter and dog!
      9. When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
         BBQ. Period.
      10. What technology could you not live without?
          My Insulin pump! Literally can’t live without it!
      11. Who inspires you?
          My daughter! I want to give her the world! I want her to have amazing experiences and opportunities to learn and grow! She inspires me to grow our relationship based on love and understanding! I want to be a better career woman, wife, person and mother all because of her!
      12. What is your proudest accomplishment?
          Becoming a mother! We had a rough delivery and a stint in the NICU. Now she is super happy and 100% healthy! She warms my heart DAILY! 🙂
      13. If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
          Somewhere colder with a view… like Montana!!
      14. I want to learn how to…?
          Play the cello! I have one but I haven’t ever taken the time to really learn! It’s such a beautiful instrument!
