I just got a job offer in Austin and so I have been looking into the local real estate there. However, I had no idea that the average rent for one room is $940. I know that compared to places like San Francisco and New York City that that is fairly cheap. However, I live in Utah where a one bedroom apartment can be found between $500 and $700. What are the typical amenities that might be able to be found with this $940 rental price?
Ya, I just got back from New York for a two month stay…. and let me tell you the home prices here are looking substantially cheap at the moment. PS awesome infographic.
